The Rainforest Alliance is a globally recognised sustainability standard awarded to farms, forests, and businesses that meet rigorous environmental, social, and economic criteria.

We ensure that our tea blends are sourced from RFA approved gardens and look to continuously improve our manufacturing facility for a more sustainable future for Typhoo.

Ethical Tea Partnership

This collaboration underscores Typhoo’s commitment to enhancing sustainability and improving the livelihoods of tea workers globally. By aligning with ETP, Typhoo aims to promote responsible sourcing practices and ensure better living and working conditions across its supply chain.

In April 2025, we proudly took ownership of our new tea manufacturing facility, “The Plant”. With state-of-the-art machinery capable of producing 1,700 tea bags per minute, this facility allows us to service our entire black tea category from a single, highly efficient site. By consolidating production, we gain full traceability on stock, ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and reliability in every box.
